The College of Nursing at the University of Baghdad organized a workshop entitled (The skill of overcoming the difficulty of dealing with auditors or patients).
On the virtual platform (Google Meet) in the presence of a number of teachers and undergraduate and graduate students.
The workshop aimed to present some skills to overcome the difficulties faced by nurses with patients or patients in hospitals.
The workshop also included the principles of professional conduct, skills used to communicate with patients, and the risks of poor communication with difficult patients.
When faced with difficult patients in a department, understanding the situation and the patient’s motivations may help better deal with existing communication difficulties. Meeting a difficult patient, especially in the emergency department, is often annoying for both the nurse and the patient. These patients often suffer from chronic medical problems and suffer from social disparities, so it is preferable to follow certain behaviors or skills to deal with it is important so that we do not reach a vicious circle of attacks and endorsements.
