The aim of the study is to assess the effect of non-pharmacological pain management methods on children pain intensity after surgery, and compere its effectiveness with other methods.
The letter also included the thesis to revealed that the application of non-pharmacological, pharmacological, and combination methods were effective to reduce children`s pain at different levels. Non-pharmacological pain management method approved a significant influence to reduce children`s pain. Most effective method to reduce children`s pain was a combination method pharmacological and non-pharmacological.
The most important recommendations reached by the study: to apply the non-pharmacological pain methods to reduce pain among children before or in combination with the pharmacological method. Provided surgical hospitals with facilities that required applying non-pharmacological pain methods by nurses, and the estimate that the researcher got privilege.
