The Scientific Affairs Division at the College of Nursing, University of Baghdad, embodied the concept of academic integration by organizing a specialized scientific seminar titled “Hormonal Changes and Their Impact on Breast Health” in collaboration with Al-Karkh University of Science. During the seminar, Assistant Professor Dr. Nuha Adel Ibrahim presented a detailed scientific analysis of the most significant hormonal changes women experience at different stages of life and their direct effects on breast health, with a strong emphasis on the need to adopt systematic preventive measures and promote community health awareness regarding the importance of early detection.
The seminar was characterized by an interactive atmosphere featuring extensive scientific discussions during which the lecturer answered questions from the audience, thereby enriching the knowledge content and emphasizing the vital role that health education plays in reducing the risks associated with breast diseases. The presentations also emphasized the need to continue these academic dialogues to develop the diagnostic and preventive skills of specialized personnel
This activity is part of the strategic vision adopted by the College’s Division of Scientific Affairs to strengthen scientific cooperation with partner universities and broaden the horizons of knowledge among its students and researchers, ensuring they keep pace with the latest scientific developments in the fields of medicine and nursing, and effectively contributes to providing sound community awareness services that elevate the standard of public healthcare
