The Faculty of Nursing at the University of Baghdad made a distinguished international scientific appearance with the participation of Assistant Professor Dr. Aysen Kamal Mohammed Nouri, who teaches in the Community Health Nursing Department of the college, in the 11th International Multidisciplinary Conference hosted by Baku Eurasia University in the Republic of Azerbaijan via the internet from December 23 to 25, 2025. The conference opened in a festive atmosphere that reflected the deep scientific and cultural ties between the two countries, with the Iraqi and Azerbaijani national anthems played, followed by traditional music performed by university students. The president of Baku Eurasia University then delivered a speech in which he praised the cooperation with the Scholar Foundation for bringing together researchers from around the world on a platform that aims to integrate applied sciences and humanities with artificial intelligence technologies.
The participation aimed to promote knowledge exchange and discuss the latest innovations that serve sustainable development, with the conference focusing on providing an academic environment to support scientific publication in internationally ranked journals. At the conclusion of its sessions, the conference concluded with a set of strategic recommendations that emphasized the need to promote multidisciplinary research and employ artificial intelligence in the fields of health, education, and management to improve quality of life, while emphasizing the expansion of international cooperation frameworks through joint research projects and the exchange of researchers and graduate students.
The recommendations also focused on building the capacities of young researchers through training workshops, paying attention to the ethical and legal standards of digital technologies, and linking scientific output to societal problems to ensure that studies are translated into concrete practical solutions. In conclusion, the participants expressed their appreciation to the organizing committees, emphasizing the pivotal role of these conferences in supporting innovation and achieving sustainable development at the regional and international levels in the service of the scientific and humanitarian community.
