The Faculty of Nursing at Baghdad University  discussed the doctoral thesis  tagged )Effectiveness of Health Educational Program on Teacher’s Knowledge and Attitude about Schools Violence in Primary Schools at Suq_AL Shuyukh City Center(  for the student Ahmed Ali Khalaf.

 

The aim of the study to determine the effectiveness of the health educational program on the knowledge and attitudes of teachers regarding school violence.

The letter also included the thesis :The results of the study prove the effectiveness of the program through a high rate of response obtained in the first pre-test and post-test and the second post-test. Where the results of the study group’s knowledge in the pre-test were (90%) at a poor level, but after the first and second post-test it was (100%) at a good level. The control outcome sample set had a poor level of knowledge over the three periods. Likewise, the results of the study group’s attitudes in the pre-test were (96.7%) at an average level. However, after the first and second post-test (60%, 70%) at a good level. As well as the control group for teachers’ attitudes (70%-5,6,6%-66.7%) average for the first and second pretest and posttest, respectively.

 

The most important recommendations reached by the study: focusing on educating teachers about school violence; Use materials such as posters and stickers about school violence its types causes and effects. And the estimate that the researcher got very good.
