The Faculty of Nursing participated in an intensive training course on protocol and etiquette, which was held at the Faculty of Media at the University of Baghdad. The college was represented in this course by Assistant Teacher Mustafa Wajih, employee of the Government Information and Communication Division. The course witnessed a wide presence of officials of the media units in various university formations, along with a number of stakeholders.

The course included a series of important lectures aimed at introducing the differences between public relations and protocol, their objectives, and how to organize them administratively. It also focused on preparing practical programs for diplomatic visits and adhering to the rules of the protocol. The course also provided a quick overview of the Protocol Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, with the aim of improving the image of the host institution or country of any activity, whether internal or external.

To enhance the practical aspect, the training ensured practical implementation by preparing steps to ensure the success of official VIP visits. At the end of the course, an exam was held for the participants in the course.

Protocol and etiquette are an effective tool for achieving the 17 development goals, as they promote positive behaviors that contribute to building more sustainable and resilient societies.
