The Technological Incubation and Ecosystem Unit at the College of Nursing at Baghdad University organized a specialized workshop for third-stage students, entitled “Technological Incubation and Ecosystem Unit”. The workshop was presented by the unit’s head, Assistant Professor Dr. Noha Adel, and the unit’s member, Instructor Dr. Intisar Muzaffar.
The workshop mainly aimed at introducing students to the basic components of the technology incubator unit in terms of vision, mission and goals, and how to transform entrepreneurial ideas into realistic projects by reviewing the available means of support for entrepreneurs.
The workshop included a comprehensive review of the services, facilities, support and consultation mechanisms provided by the College of Nursing, as an institution with a legal entity and distinctive expertise. The workshop focused on the College’s ability to provide the necessary support to individuals with entrepreneurial talents and those wishing to launch their own projects.
The workshop emphasized the role of the unit in supporting innovation and entrepreneurship, the ninth goal of industry, innovation and infrastructure of the Sustainable Development Goals and the creation of a generation capable of finding sustainable solutions that serve society and ensure equitable economic growth, as well as the eighth goal of decent work and economic growth, in line with the college’s endeavor to ensure the sustainability of projects and meet the needs of the community.
