The Faculty of Nursing at Baghdad University discussed the master’s thesis/ tagged effectiveness of an instructional program on knowledge and health-related quality of life for breast cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy: self-care model for the student Ghufran Salman Hashem.
The aim of the thesis is to evaluate breast cancer patients’ knowledge and health-related quality of life for breast cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy, and to determine the effectiveness of the Instructional program on knowledge and health-related quality of life for breast cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy.
The letter also included the patients appeared a deficit of knowledge and poor quality of life in the pre-test before the instructional program, but after the program in the post-test, the knowledge increased and the quality of life improved, which means that the effectiveness of the instructional program improved the patient’s knowledge and quality of life.
The most important recommendations reached by the study: continuous educational workshops by the Ministry of Health and health institutions to increase women’s knowledge about breast cancer and chemotherapy, as well as encourage them to early detection of breast cancer, the study urges an increase in educational programs for patients to raise awareness about a healthy quality of life during chemotherapy, as well as to support patients psychologically and physically.And the estimate that the researcher privilege.
