The College of Nursing at the University of Baghdad organized a workshop entitled (Health Conditions at Work) and in the presence of a number of female members of the Holy Kadhimiya Shrine

The workshop aimed to provide advice on how to maintain the integrity of the spine and prevent a herniated disc, since female members of the threshold are more likely to slip than others because of their standing for long hours in order to perform their duty.

The workshop also includes several axes, including a brief overview of the pathophysiology and how a herniated disc occurs, the health positions that must be taken to maintain the integrity of the spine, the latest studies that explain the method of sitting, sleeping and movement to maintain physical health, the types of sports movements that must be performed daily to prevent slipping.

The researchers called in the workshop not to lift heavy weights, to sit correctly in front of the desk, in a way that Improves the position of the muscles, as the sitting should be straight with the head raised to the top. Exercising for 15 minutes a day to help the muscles of the back and neck, using a chair with a backrest, and sitting with two feet in a flat position on the ground or on a footstool, while changing the way you sit from time to time.
