The College of Nursing at the University of Baghdad hosted a delegation from the Iraqi Federal Commission of Integrity to hold an awareness workshop titled “The Culture of Integrity.” The event took place at the college’s museum hall, with a gathering of faculty members, staff, and students in attendance.
The workshop was presented by lecturers Ms. Maida Hassan Majeed and Mr. Hussein Ali Mohammed. It aimed to promote the values of transparency, establish public service ethics, and highlight the role of educational and academic institutions in spreading oversight awareness and curbing manifestations of corruption.
The workshop witnessed active engagement from attendees through questions and interventions that enriched the topic. Meanwhile, the college administration affirmed its ongoing commitment to cooperating with national oversight institutions to support the educational and administrative environment with the values of integrity and responsibility.
This workshop falls within the framework of the College of Nursing’s efforts to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 16 (Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions), by strengthening good governance frameworks, combating corruption, and developing institutional performance efficiency within the academic edifice.
