The College of Nursing at the University of Baghdad organized a workshop entitled (Dealing with lower back pain as a result of stress at work) on the virtual platform (Google Meet) in the presence of a number of teachers, undergraduate and graduate students and graduate students.
The workshop aimed to identify lower back pain and the causes that lead to these pains, and the resulting symptoms, and then identify the most important practices to be followed to improve the ability to practice daily life activities.
The workshop also included an introduction to these pains, the most important causes leading to this, signs and symptoms, complications, diagnostic tests, and the most important tips to avoid lower back pain.
The lecturer recommended in the workshop the need to maintain the natural curvature in the lumbar area for the integrity of the cartilage of this area and the straightness of the body, and that any activity or effort that harms this natural curvature may lead over time to cumulative injuries and stress for this area, including cartilage.
