The Faculty of Nursing at Baghdad University discussed the master’s thesis tagged) Evaluation of Nurses’ Management about Nasal Injuries related to Neonatal Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (for the student Ali Jawad Hameed Helal.

 

The aim of the study is to evaluate nurses’ management about nasal injury related to CPAP at neonatal intensive care units in hospitals of Medical City director in Baghdad and it examined the type of relationship between variables.

The letter also included the thesis to the study result indicated that (86.7%) of nurses are females, (43.3%) of nurses at age (20-25) years, (46.7%) nursing school graduated, most of them have experience years in NICU (1-5) years. The grand mean of nurses’ knowledge is (83.13), practice (60.64) and overall evaluation (71.89). The study finding concluded that nurses have a high level of knowledge, and a moderate level of practices about nasal injury related CPAP.

The most important recommendations reached by the study: the continuous follow-up of nurses’ practices on caring for a newborn with continuous positive air pressure., and the estimate that the researcher got very good/ privilege
