The Qualification, Employment, and Follow-up Unit at the Faculty of Nursing at the University of Baghdad organized a specialized workshop entitled (Law on Discipline of State and Public Sector Employees) aimed at graduate students as part of a series of activities aimed at enhancing students’ legal and professional awareness. The workshop was presented by Prof. Dr. Houra Hussein Ghaffal with the participation of M.M. Iman Hani Abboud
The workshop addressed multiple topics, focusing on defining the provisions of the law on the discipline of state employees and explaining the duties and fundamental rights of public employees, as well as highlighting administrative violations and disciplinary measures stipulated in the law to ensure a proper understanding of the legislative frameworks governing professional work
The workshop aimed to raise the level of legal awareness among graduate students and clarify the regulatory aspects governing the professional relationship between employees and institutions, with an emphasis on promoting the values of professional commitment and job responsibility in accordance with the approved legal frameworks to ensure sound institutional performance.
This event is part of the Qualification, Employment, and Follow-up Unit’s vision to prepare and qualify students for the job market based on solid scientific and legal foundations that contribute to building a generation that is aware of its responsibilities and rights in the public sector.
