The Faculty of Nursing at Baghdad University has signed a twinning and joint scientific cooperation agreement with the Faculty of Nursing at Bilad Al-Rafidain University, as part of the university’s vision to open up to reputable academic institutions and exchange experiences that serve the educational process in Iraq. This agreement aims to build bridges of cooperation in the areas of updating curricula, developing the skills of teaching staff, and activating joint research and training programs that contribute to raising the level of educational outcomes and aligning them with the growing requirements of the labor market and international academic accreditation standards.

In an official statement following the signing of the agreement, Prof. Dr. Wissam Jabbar Qasim, Dean of the College of Nursing at the University of Baghdad, emphasized that this step embodies the college’s plans to promote academic integration and advance the nursing profession through modern educational strategies based on efficiency and measurable clinical outcomes. Dr. Qasim explained that the college strives to provide an advanced educational environment that integrates theory and practice, emphasizing that cooperation with Al-Rafidain University will open new horizons for students and researchers in the fields of health innovation and scientific research, which will positively reflect on the quality of healthcare provided to citizens.

This scientific partnership is part of the college’s firm commitment to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 3 on good health and well-being and Goal 4 on quality education. The agreement seeks to sustain human resources in healthcare by preparing a generation of nurses with leadership skills and advanced critical thinking.
