The college of Nursing at the University of Baghdad launched the final exams for the first semester for undergraduate students, in an organized academic atmosphere with integrated logistical and technical procedures to ensure the smooth running of the exams. The classrooms welcomed students from different academic levels to assess the knowledge and skills they acquired during the semester.
During an inspection tour of the exam halls, the Dean of the College of Nursing, Prof. Dr. Wissam Jabbar Qasim, stated: “The college was keen to provide a suitable environment and meet all the necessary requirements to ensure the comfort of students and support their academic performance, while fully complying with the applicable ministerial regulations and instructions. These exams are not just a measurement tool, but a means of assessing students’ ability to keep pace with rapid developments in nursing science, and we are proud of the level of discipline and responsibility shown by our dear students”
These exams go beyond the traditional academic aspect and are closely linked to the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 4 (Quality Education). The rigorous scientific level of these exams reflects the college’s commitment to graduating highly competent nursing cadres, thereby ensuring the improvement of medical education outcomes. This process also serves Goal 3 (Good Health and Well-being), as the accurate assessment of the competence of future nurses is critical to providing safe and comprehensive healthcare to the community, contributing to the development of a sustainable healthcare system based on knowledge and professional skills in the face of emerging health challenges
The examination committees praised the students’ commitment to the specified time and instructions, confirming that the results will be reviewed in accordance with academic quality standards to ensure fairness and transparency in the assessment of educational outcomes
