The aim of the study is to evaluate the effectiveness of an interventional program for nurses about pain-related management for children with burns injuries.
The letter also included the thesis to the nurses expressed a good level of knowledge and adequate practices with regard pain management at the post-test period of measurement after the application of intervention program as compared pre-test period of measurement were unsatisfactory knowledge. There were significant differences in nurse’s knowledge and practices between pre-test and post-test I and there were no significant differences in nurse’s knowledge and practices between post-test I and post-test II. An intervention training program is effective in improving nurses’ knowledge and practices about pain-related management for children with burns injuries.
The most important recommendations reached by the study: a create a policy to involving a bachelor of nursing to work in the burn center and involving nursing staff in continuous training courses in pain-related management for children with burns injuries. , And the estimate that the researcher got privilege.
