The College of Nursing at the University of Baghdad participated in a professional journalism coursein Erbil. With the aim of HRF,  )  organized by the Dutch Human Rights Organization (to develop its media performance. The college was  represented in this course by Assistant Professor Mustafa Wajeeh Hussein, head of the college’s media unit
The course aimed to develop the participants’ skills in the field of media and professional journalism in order to serve their institutions and contribute effectively to achieving sustainable development goals. More than 250 journalists participated in the course. The course consisted of two competitive stages. The first stage was conducted remotely, with more than 30 journalists who passed the first stage participating in person in Erbil Governorate. The best participants were selected

The Faculty of Nursing’s participation in such specialized courses is part of its ongoing efforts to improve the performance of the media unit to ensure that its scientific and social message is conveyed with a high degree of professionalism and to achieve sustainable development goals by harnessing effective media tools to raise awareness of issues related to health and quality education,  in the third goal, which is among the priorities of the global sustainable development goals
