The Dean of the College of Nursing at Baghdad University, Prof. Dr. Wissam Jabbar Qasim, accompanied by the scientific and administrative assistants, conducted a comprehensive inspection tour to follow up the progress of the ongoing reconstruction and development process in the college. The tour included a field visit to the work sites, where he was briefed on the progress made in restoring and modernizing the infrastructure and laboratories integrated with technology to simulate reality, with the aim of providing a better learning environment for students.
The Dean also visited the scientific branches and teaching staff to listen to their needs directly, and to identify the challenges they face. He emphasized the importance of providing all the necessary supplies to improve the educational process and scientific research, stressing that these efforts aim to provide better educational services during the current academic year.
This visit and the ongoing development efforts at the College of Nursing are integrated with the fourth goal of the Sustainable Development Goals, “Quality Education”. By providing a modern learning environment, equipping scientific branches with the necessary equipment, and listening to the needs of faculty, the college is actively contributing to ensuring quality, inclusive and equitable education, and promoting lifelong learning opportunities for all. This is in line with the college’s vision to graduate qualified nurses who contribute to building a healthy and prosperous society
