The Faculty of Nursing at Baghdad University  discussed the master’s thesis tagged)  Body Image Satisfaction and Quality of Life among Aesthetic Surgery Clients(for the student Raghda Abdulzahra Khudair.

 

The aim of the study is assess the relationship between body image satisfaction and quality of life among aesthetic surgery.

The letter also included the thesis The results of the study indicated that (52%) of clients showed dissatisfaction with their body image. and (56.7%) quality of life was moderate. There is a difference in body image satisfaction according to the clients ages and genders (p<0.05); and differences in the quality of life according to client’s gender, marital status, and the type of previous plastic surgeries (p<0.05). There was a significant positive correlation between body image satisfaction and quality of life (r = 0.168; p = 0.040).

 

The most important recommendations reached by the study: It should be designed programs and seminars to reach realistic and positive perceptions of body image and overcome negative opinions in order to enhance self-esteem and different dimensions of quality of life.. And the estimate that the researcher got privilege.
