Assistant Professor Dr. Athra Hussein Shuq from the Faculty of Nursing at Baghdad University participated with a distinguished research in the virtual international conference “Pediatric and Child Health Care”.

Dr. Azraa presented a paper titled “Music Intervention during Bandage Change: Music intervention during dressing change: Its effects on children pain and compliance.

This research aims to highlight the importance of using music as a means of reducing pain and improving children’s experience during dressing change. The conference witnessed wide participation from researchers from different countries around the world, and focused on enabling all children to receive high-quality health care that promotes their healthy growth and development. It also sought to connect pediatric professionals globally to share knowledge, foster collaboration, and drive innovation to improve pediatric care and health.

This participation comes within the framework of the College of Nursing at Baghdad University’s efforts to contribute to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals, specifically Goal 4 (quality education) through distinguished scientific research, and Goal 17 (partnerships to achieve the goals) through international cooperation and exchange of experiences.
