The Faculty of Nursing at Baghdad University organized a course entitled First Aid for members of the General Company for Automobile and Equipment Industry / Ministerial Battery Laboratory in the presence of a number of members of the battery factory
The workshop aimed to learn about the basic principles of first aid and how to deal with the injured using the simplest available possibilities to save the life of the patient and avoid complications of injury.
The course also included a number of topics, including the importance of first aid and the importance of first aid training, and the workshop dealt with several topics in a theoretical and practical way, such as bleeding, wounds, burns, fractures and lead poisoning, how to save the patient and protect the paramedic while providing assistance and avoiding the injured until the medical team arrives and the injured person is taken to hospital.
The researchers called for the need to urge staff to participate in first aid courses from all departments of the laboratory to be trained to provide assistance to the injured and how to deal with each case and avoid complications leading to injured death or permanent disability until the medical team arrives.
