The College of Nursing organized a scientific symposium entitled “Gender and its impact on society” ،throughout Google meet. The symposium targeted teachers from the University of Baghdad and other universities and their administrative staff.
The symposium aimed to identify the most important theories and ideas regarding the concept of gender and its negative impact on society.
The symposium included presenting examples from our Islamic society that contradict the current concept of gender and finding solutions to prevent these forms of legitimacy.
The symposium recommended increasing cultural awareness of the concept of gender and focusing on our students in raising awareness through scientific seminars and educational guidance.
