The Faculty of Nursing at Baghdad University discussed the master’s thesis tagged effectiveness of an educational program on patients’ knowledge about pain management in hemodialysis unit for the student Esraa Ali Hanoon.
The aim of the thesis is to evaluate patient knowledge about pain management and effectiveness of educational program about pain management for hemodialysis patients.
The letter also showed the existence of highly statistically significant differences for the knowledge of hemodialysis patients after application educational program in the post test. The differences between patients’ knowledge about pain management and demographic (level of education) have statistically significant difference.
The most important recommendations reached by the study: Improving hemodialysis patients’ knowledge about pain management. By using mass media or consultation group design a simple booklet to guide the patients about pain management that should be delivered to hemodialysis patients And the estimate that the researcher got privilege.
