The Faculty of Nursing at Baghdad University discussed the master’s thesis tagged effectiveness of an educational program on nurses’ knowledge about nursing care for children after tonsillectomy for the student Lamiaa Rikan Fadil
The aim of the thesis is to determine effectiveness of the educational program on nurses’ knowledge about nursing care for children after tonsillectomy.
The letter also included that more than half of nurses were express a low response level of knowledge before implementing educational program. However, after the implementation of the educational program, more than half of nurses express high response of knowledge in study group during post-test I & II period respectively, while the nurses in the control group still express a low level of knowledge. The study revealed a significant difference between the study and control groups during post-test I, post-test II period P<0.05.
The most important recommendations reached by the study: Adapting of this program by the Ministry of Health, as training program for nurse’s care toward child after tonsillectomy in hospitals. And the estimate that the researcher got privilege.
