The Faculty of Nursing at Baghdad University discussed the master’s thesis tagged evaluation of pregnant women’s satisfaction for the quality of antenatal care at primary health care centers in Al Diwaniyah City for the student Bushra Abbas Abdullah.
The aim of the thesis is aimed to evaluate pregnant women’s satisfaction with the quality of antenatal care.
The letter also included the thesis to indicate that the average age of the pregnant women was 27.8 years, (30%) primary school graduates, (62%) housewives, (34.7%) reported a monthly income of more than 900,000 Iraqi dinars and (60.7%) lived in urban areas. Pregnant women’s satisfaction with the quality of antenatal was relatively moderate (48%). There are statistically significant differences in satisfaction among pregnant women according to the difference in age, occupation, monthly income and residents. The most important recommendations reached by the study: Availing inputs may not be enough to ensure in bringing client satisfaction. Rather, providers may need further supporting mechanisms to offer antenatal care that clients regard as satisfactory. In so doing, facilities will increase the levels of providers’ performance and client satisfaction, and improve the overall quality of care offered at primary health care centers.
