The Faculty of Nursing at Baghdad University discussed the master’s thesis/ tagged the relationship between fear of infection and quality of care among nurses in the emergency department for the student Haidar Hatif Abar.
The aim of the thesis is to assess nurses’ infection fears and evaluate the quality of care, determine the relationship between fear of infection and the quality of care.
The letter also included the thesis to indicated that 50.4% of nurses experience moderate fear of infection, and 72% show a fair quality of care. The study’s results showed no significant relationship between nurses’ fears of infection and the quality of care they provided. There was also no significant relationship between the nurses’ socio-demographic characteristics and the quality of care they gave.
The most important recommendations reached by the study: Enabling nurses to become more aware and prepared to confront the epidemic or infection by implementing a teaching and practicing program to prevent and control virus transmission and the estimate that the researcher got privilege.
