The College of Nursing at the University of Baghdad, represented by Prof. Dr. Muhammad Baqir Abbas al-Jabouri, participated as a keynote speaker at the Second International Conference organized by the College of Nursing at the University of Karbala under the theme “Modern Trends in Nursing,” which was held at Al-Sibtayn University of Medical Sciences in the holy city of Karbala.
The conference aimed to highlight the latest developments and scientific research in the field of nursing care, exchange academic and clinical experiences among researchers and specialists from various universities and health institutions, and elevate the nursing profession by integrating modern technologies and innovative methods into educational curricula and practical practices.
In this context, Dr. Al-Jubouri reviewed during his presentation the most prominent modern strategies in the nursing education sector and mechanisms for their development to ensure keeping pace with rapid global developments. This active participation embodies the college’s efforts and its tireless pursuit of the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 4 on quality education and Goal 16 on partnerships for the goals.
