The Faculty of Nursing at Baghdad University discussed the doctoral thesis tagged effectiveness of an educational program on late adults’ knowledge about frailty prevention for the student Ammar Abbas Okab.

The aim of the thesis is to determine effectiveness of the instruction program of late adults’ knowledge towards frailty.

The letter also included the thesis to that there was a highly significant difference between the pre-test knowledge score (poor level 86%) and the post-test1 knowledge score late adults’ knowledge about physical frailty, psychological frailty and social frailty (Good level 93%), and post-test2 knowledge score late adults’ knowledge about physical frailty, psychological frailty and social frailty (Good level 91%). The present study revealed a significant association between late adults’ knowledge about frailty and its age, gander, educational level, and life style.

The most important recommendations reached by the study: Conducted a comprehensive survey of the physical, psychological and social problems of the elderly, the work of a national program to address problems related to frailty, conducting educational programs and broadcasting them in the media on how to prevent frailty in old age and educated the late adult how to prevent the occurrence of frailty and the estimate that the researcher got privilege.
