The College of Nursing at the University of Baghdad organized a scientific symposium entitled (Nutrients and Pregnancy Health) in the presence of the Dean of the College of Nursing, Prof. Dr. Wissam Jabbar and a number of teachers and administrators in the formation,
and the workshop aimed to identify the importance of nutrients, their balance and their role in maintaining the health and continuity of pregnancy and the health and development of the fetus,
the workshop also included axes that included an introduction to nutrients and their types and the role of each element in fetal growth and pregnancy health and Axes on the conditions that must be met in the foods eaten by the pregnant mother and its safety from pollutants and how to choose the appropriate food allowed during pregnancy to prevent exposure to any infection or inflammation
The researchers called in the symposium / the need to educate mothers about the importance of eating nutrients necessary for the continuity and health of pregnancy during their review of health care centers in the first months of pregnancy
