The University Psychological Counseling Unit, in collaboration with the Student Activities Division at the College of Nursing, University of Baghdad, organized a field trip and cultural visit to the Iraqi Scientific Complex, with the participation of a select group of faculty members and a group of students, with the aim of fostering engagement with the country’s long-standing academic and scientific institutions.

The visit aimed to promote cultural and intellectual exchange, broaden the students’ intellectual horizons, and familiarize them with the role of this pioneering national institution in preserving heritage and advancing scientific, literary, and linguistic endeavors, as well as to support and develop psychological and social aspects through extracurricular activities that contribute to building a well-rounded academic personality in students.

This initiative is part of the college’s ongoing efforts to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 4—Quality Education—by enriching students’ educational experiences, and Goal 17—Partnerships for the Goals—by strengthening ties of cooperation with national scientific institutions.
