As part of its efforts to recognize academic and cultural achievements, the Preparatory Committee for the 22nd Brothers’ Meeting Festival for Hobbies and Crafts honored Assistant Professor Dr. Noha Adel Ibrahim and Professor Dr. Hussein Hadi Attia by awarding them a certificate of appreciation from the Deputy Minister of Culture, Tourism and Antiquities, along with a letter of thanks and appreciation from the Director General of the General Cultural Relations Department, in recognition of their outstanding efforts and active role in the successful participation of the Faculty of Nursing in the festival’s activities.

This honor was in recognition of the significant role played by the college, which included a meaningful student theatrical performance supervised by college professors, as well as the celebration of the publication of the first book by student Aisha Sabah, as well as presenting a group of handicrafts and community awareness activities that received wide interaction and praise from the public and residents, reflecting the bright image of extracurricular activities at the college.

On the organizational level, Assistant Professor Dr. Noha Adel Ibrahim played a pivotal role as an active member of the organizing committees (within the college and within the festival’s preparatory committee), where she undertook the tasks of following up on participation from Iraqi public and private universities, directly supervising the festival’s website, and preparing certificates of appreciation, which directly contributed to highlighting the institutional image of the festival and the success of its events.

This cultural movement and official recognition is in line with the college’s pursuit of sustainable development goals, specifically Goal 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) through fruitful cooperation with the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Antiquities and other institutions, and Goal 4 (Quality Education) by supporting student talent and enhancing creative skills outside the classroom, which contributes to building the personality of university students and qualifying them to be active members of society.
