The Faculty of Nursing at Baghdad University discussed the master’s thesis tagged) Evaluation of Health Care Providers’ Knowledge about Physical Activity Promotion and Health Restoration for Adults with Physical Disability in Diyala City (for the student Marwa Laith Muhammad.

 

The aim of the study is to evaluate healthcare providers’ knowledge on promoting physical activity and restoring health for adults with disabilities.

The letter also included the thesis to indicated that most health care providers demonstrated poor knowledge regarding the promotion of physical activity and health restoration. There were differences in knowledge about physical activity promotion by caregiver education (p = 0.001) and job description (p = 0.054), and statistically significant differences in health restoration knowledge with regard to caregiver gender (p = 0.059) years of services (p = 0.059), job description (p = 0.001) and training courses (p = 0.001).

 

The most important recommendations reached by the study: educational programs be designed periodically for healthcare providers to improve their knowledge of the care of adults with disability and presenting them with regular continuing education sessions to keep them up dated , And the estimate that the researcher got privilege.
