The aim of the study is to assess of old age nutritional status at home and geriatric home in al-diwaniyah city.
The letter also included the thesis to that the nutritional status of old age at home exhibited a better nutritional status than those at geriatric home. Home environment, quality of services plays a significant role in their nutritional health. As well as Education, marital status, monthly income, occupation, years of residence and BMI have significant effect on old age nutritional status.
The most important recommendations reached by the study: There is a necessity of implementing public health nutrition-oriented interventions and educational strategies for old age at geriatric home and at home aimed at achieving old age consistent nutrition-related behavioural changes. Monitoring the nutritional services at Geriatric Homes by the Ministry of Health. And the estimate that the researcher got privilege.
