The Faculty of Nursing at Baghdad University announced the conclusion of a series of intensive scientific discussions for the graduation research of the fourth stage students in the Community Health Branch. These discussions took place under the direct supervision of the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Wissam Jabbar Qasim, and are the culmination of the students’ academic and research efforts.
As part of the final preparations for the graduation of the current batch, the students presented their research projects to a specialized committee from the Community Health Branch. The Dean praised the outstanding level of research presented, emphasizing that it reflects the depth of knowledge and advanced analytical skills that the students have acquired over the years of their studies.
Prof. Dr. Wissam Jabbar Qasim announced a plan to select the three best research papers from among all the works submitted in the branch. These selected research papers will be given an exceptional opportunity to be presented at the upcoming nursing conference, providing students with a prestigious platform to showcase their achievements and exchange insights with elite professionals and academics in the fields of nursing and public health.
This initiative underscores the commitment of the Baghdad University College of Nursing to promote scientific research and stimulate innovation among its students. This commitment stems from the faculty’s belief in the pivotal role of research in advancing the nursing profession and raising the standards of community healthcare in Iraq. These discussions are directly aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals, specifically Goal 4, Quality Education.
