The Rehabilitation and Employment Unit at the College of Nursing at the University of Baghdad organized workshop entitled “Integrity, Transparency and Accountability in the Administrative Work of Employees” delivered by Assistant Professor Dr. Aysen Kamal Muhammad. The workshop was attended by a group of graduate students in Ibn Sina Hall at the college.
The workshop aimed to increase participants’ awareness of the importance of integrity, transparency and accountability in their professional and personal lives, highlight the vital role of these values in improving administrative performance, increasing confidence in institutions, and educating students about the importance of these values in their future professional lives.
The workshop came out with a set of recommendations, the most important of which is spreading the culture of integrity, transparency and accountability in all aspects of administrative work, organizing training courses and workshops periodically to raise awareness of the importance of integrity, and including the concepts of integrity and transparency in curricula.
This workshop is an important part of the Deanship of the College of Nursing program, contributing to the preparation of a generation of nurses with high professional ethics, and capable of providing high-quality health care.
This workshop contributes to creating an administrative work environment characterized by integrity, transparency and accountability, which positively reflects on the performance of institutions and society as a whole, and contributes to achieving the goals of sustainable development, goal sixteen, peace, justice and strong institutions.
