The Faculty of Nursing at Baghdad University discussed the doctoral thesis tagged (Effectiveness of an Interventional Program on Nurses’ Knowledge and Practices about the Preventive Measures of Transmission of COVID-19 in Baghdad Teaching Hospital) for the student Basaad Salem Mahmoud
The aim of the thesis is: to find out the effectiveness of an interventional program on nurses knowledge and practices about the preventive measures of transmission of COVID 19.
The letter also included the thesis to the results show that both(study and control) groups have low level of knowledge and practice in pre-test) about the preventive measures of transmission of COVID-19 .After application the interventional program the nurses knowledge and practices improved in study group in post-test. This indicates the success of the interventional program.
The most important recommendations reached by the study: applying a structured interventional program for nursing staff about the preventive measures of transmission of covid-19 and conducting further studies regarding the improvement of nurses’ knowledge and practices about the preventive measures of transmission of COVID-19.
