The Continuing Education Unit at the College of Nursing, University of Baghdad, organized a specialized workshop titled “Artificial Intelligence Based on the Genspark Agent,” presented by Assistant Professor Ahmed Shihab Ahmed and Lecturer Dr. Maysa Hamid Abdul Amir, faculty members in the Basic Sciences Department. The workshop was held in the college’s smart classroom and was well-attended by second-year undergraduate students interested in keeping pace with modern technological advancements.
The workshop focused on enhancing students’ skills by introducing them to the “Genspark Agent” technology and explaining the fundamental differences that distinguish it from other artificial intelligence agents. The practical component included live demonstrations of how to use this intelligent agent to automate complex tasks and analyze data, along with hands-on training for participants on how to build and customize intelligent agents for specific use cases, including knowledge management and providing highly accurate technical recommendations.
At its conclusion, the workshop produced a set of strategic recommendations emphasizing the need to bridge the gap between theory and practice by deepening understanding of the theoretical foundations of agent-driven artificial intelligence and applying them in real-world scenarios, It also discussed future visions for how these systems will transform interaction methods in vital fields such as education and healthcare, while calling on students to stimulate local innovation and develop smart solutions based on “Genspark” technologies tailored to the needs of the Iraqi environment and society.
This scientific event is part of a series of activities organized by the Continuing Education Unit aimed at keeping pace with digital development, which directly contributes to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 4 on quality education through the enhancement of modern technical skills, and Goal 9, which focuses on industry and innovation by adapting artificial intelligence tools to serve academic and professional purposes.
