The college of Nursing conducted joint (assessment) exams with its counterparts from nursing faculties in Iraqi universities for the subjects of “Health Assessment” in the adult nursing branch and “Critical Care Nursing” in the mental and psychological health branch

The exam process was supervised and monitored directly by the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Wissam Jabbar Qasim, who inspected the exam halls to check on the progress of the exam and ensure that all logistical and technical requirements were in place to guarantee the smooth running of the exam process in accordance with the approved ministerial contexts and regulations

This is a practical application of the college’s commitment to achieving sustainable development goals. With regard to the fourth goal of quality education, the joint exam is a fundamental pillar for ensuring scientific integrity and standardizing educational standards among Iraqi universities, which guarantees that all students receive a fair and high-quality education, thereby reducing scientific gaps and raising the competence of graduates to become leaders in the field of healthcare. In parallel, this exam serves the third goal of good health and well-being, as the focus on vital and specialized subjects and their inclusion in the standardized exam directly contributes to the graduation of competent nursing staff capable of providing safe and effective healthcare to the community, thereby strengthening the national health system in general. This event also embodies the seventeenth goal of partnerships for the goals, as the collaboration between the College of Nursing and other colleges is a living example of institutional partnerships through the exchange of experiences and exam models, creating an integrative academic environment that supports innovation and continuous development

At the end of the tour, Dean Wissam Jabbar Qasim affirmed that the college will continue its policy of scientific openness and the application of comprehensive quality standards, noting that these exams are a true indicator for measuring students’ level of knowledge and developing curricula in line with global developments in nursing sciences, thereby serving national sustainable development plans
