The college of Nursing at the University of Baghdad participated in the First International Conference: The Role of Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance in Reintegration.  This was part of its commitment to developing academic staff and keeping up with scientific developments in the field of mental health and educational guidance. The aim of the participation was to learn about the latest global developments in the field of psychological counseling and discuss the contemporary challenges facing educational guidance curricula, thereby contributing to enhancing the quality of counseling services provided within educational institutions and developing psychological support mechanisms for students

This participation confirms the Faculty of Nursing’s commitment to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 3 (Good Health and Well-being) by addressing mental health as an integral part of public health, the fourth goal (quality education) by developing a psychologically and educationally supportive learning environment, as well as the seventeenth goal (partnerships) through cooperation with specialized research centers to exchange experiences and develop capabilities.
