The Faculty of Nursing at Baghdad University discussed the master’s thesis tagged) Psychosocial Factors Associated with Childbirth Satisfaction among Pregnant Women for the student Hanadi Ali Mahnoosh.

 

The aim of the study: to assess pregnant women’s psychosocial factors associated with childbirth satisfaction at Al-Haboubi Hospital in Nasiriyah city.

The letter also included the thesis to :The results showed that (43%) of pregnant women had low satisfaction with childbirth. (77%) had a high level of fear of childbirth, (60%) had mild anxiety levels, and (67%) had low levels of stress. Regarding social factors, the factor of having obstacles to visiting health centers had the highest percentage it accounted for (49%). The study found that it is the most important factor that impacts women’s satisfaction with childbirth.

 

The most important recommendations reached by the study: Health care institutions should develop support plans and open a special mental health section to reduce the fear, anxiety, and stress that pregnant women face from natural childbirth. And the estimate that the researcher got privilege.
