The Faculty of Nursing at Baghdad University discussed the master’s thesis tagged ) Effectiveness of an Interventional Program on Nurses’ Practices Regarding Communication Strategy in Critical Care Units at Imam Al-Hussein Medical City in Holy Karbala City( for the student Haneen Qahtan Abadi.
The aim of the message: To evaluate the effectiveness of intervention program on nurses’ practices regarding communication strategy and find out the relationship between the effectiveness of intervention program and nurses’ demographic characteristics.
The letter also included the thesis: The results of the study indicated that there were high statistical differences between the periods before and after applying of the interventional program related to the communication strategy. The study found a high statistical significant relationship between the effectiveness of the intervention program and nurses’ educational level, years of experience in hospital, years of experience in critical care units and nursing documentation training course.
The most important recommendations reached by the study: the necessity of applying the current program on a large sample of health care providers in health institutions because of its great importance to shortening time, effort and positive feedback from the patient on the health institution.
