The Fundamentals of Nursing Branch at the College of Nursing organized an interactive scientific debate between first-year students from the morning and evening studies, as part of its series of scientific and cultural activities aimed at enriching the academic environment and promoting scientific, cultural, and social awareness among its students in the college’s diploma hall.

This debate aimed to stimulate constructive scientific and cultural competition among students in various fields, whether medical, religious, or cultural, and to develop their cognitive abilities and create a generation of intellectually and knowledgeably empowered students.

The debate included a variety of questions covering medical and nursing aspects related to the curricula, in addition to questions in the fields of religion, society, and history. An atmosphere of enthusiasm and transparency prevailed during the competition, with the judging committee commending the outstanding performance and high sportsmanship shown by the participants.

At the end of the debate, which resulted in the morning study students winning by a narrow margin (8 to 6 points), both teams were honored, and gifts were presented in recognition of their efforts and to encourage them to continue seeking knowledge in various fields.

At the conclusion of the debate, the students expressed their thanks and appreciation to the Dean of the College, the heads, and professors of the Fundamentals of Nursing Branch for this valuable initiative, which provided them with an opportunity to exchange knowledge, broaden their horizons, and foster a spirit of cooperation and positive competition among themselves. This debate achieves one of the sustainable development goals, which is the fourth goal: quality education.
