The College of Nursing at the University of Baghdad welcomed new graduate students (higher diploma, master’s, and doctorate) for the 2025-2026 academic year. The students were welcomed by the heads of the academic departments, who gave them a detailed explanation of the attendance mechanism and their distribution among the various academic departments.

The reception included introductory sessions during which the heads of departments emphasized the great importance of completing postgraduate studies in the field of nursing. They focused on the vital role that graduates will play after obtaining their degrees, whether in the development of clinical practice, scientific research, or leadership in health institutions.

It was emphasized that these academic programs are not only intended to provide students with specialized knowledge, but also to prepare leaders and influencers in the health sector who are capable of raising the level of nursing care in Iraq.

Graduate studies at the College of Nursing contribute directly to the achievement of the fourth Sustainable Development Goal, which is quality education.
