A successful development agenda requires inclusive partnerships—at the global, regional, national, and local levels—based on principles and values, as well as a shared vision and common goals that put people and the planet at the center. Many countries need official development assistance to promote growth and trade. However, aid levels are declining, and donor countries have not fulfilled their pledge to increase development financing.
