Introduction to the laboratory
The Faculty of Nursing is one of the applied science faculties that relies heavily on practical laboratories to qualify and prepare students to acquire nursing skills before applying them in real life. Within hospitals and health institutions, the theoretical aspect is integrated with the practical aspect.
Experience has shown that good preparation of nursing students in practical laboratories helps bridge the gap between theory and practice and boosts students’ self-confidence.
There is no doubt that providing an environment that mimics that of hospitals and health institutions by ensuring that laboratories are equipped in a manner that closely resembles those institutions will contribute to raising the professional and technical performance of nursing students. This is what drives the college to strive to keep up with everything that is new and appropriate for the times.
Vision, Mission, and Objective

Vision for the Chemistry Laboratory
- To convey to students the scientific explanation of certain health conditions and disorders that may occur during their professional careers.
To boost students’ confidence in the effective role of nurses and the possibility of advancing nursing practice and ideal care to the highest level.
Motivate students to learn about the latest laboratory and therapeutic techniques related to biochemical reactions and to benefit from advanced global scientific practices and discoveries to build a future vision for students to raise the standard of healthcare to the highest levels of service.
Creating a spirit of integrated medical teamwork among students and their colleagues from different medical disciplines, which in turn supports the exchange of medical expertise and information.
General objective
- Conducting special tests to determine the effectiveness of the body’s organs in performing their various functions and to identify the chemicals present in body fluids, especially blood. All these substances are present in fixed proportions, and any deviation from these proportions is indicative of disease.
Enriching students with all information related to the importance and method of conducting clinical analyses, introducing the laboratory equipment necessary to conduct them, and providing an initial understanding of disorders or malfunctions in the functioning of body organs, which helps the specialist doctor make an accurate diagnosis.
Chemistry Lab Letter
Establishing basic scientific principles for everything related to chemical reactions and movements and the role of chemical compounds in metabolic processes within the human body, and creating a link between theory and practical application in order to prepare scientifically qualified and skilled nurses to provide specialized nursing care and health awareness to the community.
