There is a quality assurance and performance evaluation division in Jeddah at the College of Nursing to ensure academic quality and integrity for a distinguished educational system, where the division’s mission is diverse and reliable, with a comprehensive system that reflects high clarity to improve university performance and ensure future performance. Our primary goal is to ensure an academic educational environment at Tota College of Nursing that applies global standards to achieve international accreditation.

There is a division that ensures the quality of academic work in the college in order to improve the work of the departments so that they can play an effective and influential role in improving the administrative and academic performance of the college.

To improve college management at both the administrative and academic levels through self-assessment of all college departments and correction of the causes of the issues identified.
Division Objectives
Promote self-assessment in the College of Nursing
Establish the slogan “Improving Nursing Management in the College of Nursing” as a working principle for all leaders and officials.
Provide the necessary resources and technology to obtain international accreditation for the college’s academic programs.
Ensure that all college programs have curricula that are designed and aligned with the requirements of the labor market (Ministry of Health) in Iraq.
Communicating with students about their work and providing academic programs with periodic reports on student performance and the level of application of the knowledge they have acquired during their studies.

Structure of the Quality Assurance and Performance Evaluation Division
The division consists of four units: the Quality Assurance and Performance Evaluation Unit, the Laboratory Accreditation Unit, and the Accreditation Unit.
The division director (Dr. Nour Al-Huda Khalil Ibrahim) is a faculty member.
The division director reports directly to the dean of the college.
The division director directly supervises all of the aforementioned tasks and divides the work among the division’s staff to ensure speed and accuracy in completing the work.
The division’s staff consists of qualified faculty members who are responsible for following up on the division’s various activities (data entry, statistics, book printing, data recording and standardization for scientific programs and courses, and student and faculty survey results in coordination with the scientific branches, divisions, and scientific and administrative units). They are:

Some committees have also been formed on a temporary basis to assist the division in its work when necessary.
A number of liaison members in the college branches and affiliated units are assigned to follow up and fulfill the division’s requirements in their branches.

1. Program accreditation, making it the first nursing college to obtain program accreditation among Iraqi universities

GLP Good Laboratory Practice Standards
The Ministry of Higher Education has issued a set of guidelines aimed at bringing educational laboratories in Iraqi universities into line with international standards and helping those in charge of these laboratories to improve their management. The ultimate goal of these guidelines is to evaluate the performance of laboratories and enable them to fulfill their educational functions for students.
