The Faculty of Nursing at Baghdad University discussed the Diploma Capstone tagged) Evidence-Based Approach in Nursing Management of Respiratory Complications Post COVID 19 (for the student Ahmed Salam Jabbar.
The aim of the study is to discuss recommendations build-up on evidence-based approaches in managing Respiratory Complications Post COVID 19.
The letter also included the thesis to Patients have critical health problems post COVID 19, especially respiratory complications. Nurses Play a significant role in managing patients with respiratory problems post COVID 19. According to previous studies respiratory complications post COVID 19 can be managed by nurses through assisting patients to be on prone position; using inhaled pulmonary bronchodilator; corticosteroids therapy; positive pressure oxygen; using anti-inflammatory medications for six month to decrease and treat lung fibrosis induced by COVID 19; having physical rest, doing aerobic exercise, palliative care, respiratory rehabilitation, psychological support, continuous monitoring and diagnosis with oxygen saturation and radiation diagnostic studies, and use of antifibrotic therapy.
The most important recommendations reached by the study: conducting future studies on a wide variety of patients with COVID 19 to determine exact health complications and required management protocols. Using evidence-based outcomes during management of patients with respiratory complications post COVID 19, and the estimate that the researcher got privilege.
