The Faculty of Nursing at Baghdad University discussed the master’s thesis tagged) Influence of Workplace Incivility on Psychological Well-being of Nurses  (for the student Safa Mohammed Karam.

 

The aim of the study is to find the influence level of nursing incivility on psychological well-being among nurses.

The letter also included the thesis to show a moderate level of nursing incivility at the workplace environment and low to moderate psychological well-being for nurses, non-significant between two variables, nursing incivility, and psychological well-being, and no significant difference in nursing incivility, psychological well-being with their Socio-demographic Characteristics. While showing a significant difference in overall nursing incivility with regard to nurses’ department at p-value = 0.031.

 

The most important recommendations reached by the study: the Ministry of Health should formulate policies to reduce workplace incivility. It is educating about the roles of each individual in the health institution, setting policies for a code of conduct, and reporting abusive behaviors among nurses and not ignoring them , and the estimate that the researcher got privilege
