The workshop aimed to highlight the importance of adaptation for first-year students, as this is a crucial transitional phase from high school to university life, while emphasizing strategies for addressing the psychological and social challenges students may face at the start of their academic journey. The activity also sought to identify the most prominent problems students face and find appropriate solutions, as well as provide a set of guidance tips to ensure a stable and productive university life
This workshop embodies the college’s commitment to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 4 on quality education by fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment, and Goal 3 on good health and well-being by promoting students’ mental health and personal balance. At the conclusion of the workshop, the lecturer recommended intensifying similar training programs for first-year students to prepare them psychologically and academically, thereby contributing to enhancing their scientific competence and building their professional character, so that they may become the nucleus of competent nursing cadres capable of serving society and the nation at the highest levels.
