AD Global Scientific Index (ADThe college of Nursing at the University of Baghdad achieved a new scientific achievement by a number of its teachers topping the list of the best researchers in Iraq in the specialty of nursing and midwifery, within the classification of the Scientific Index
and scientific achievement during the last five years.H-index countries, based on the indicators of 221 million researchers from 2. 6. 6 This index is one of the most important global rankings that measure the research performance of more than
researchers in Iraq, while Prof. Dr. Sadiq Abdul Hussein, Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs, ranked second. 25 The results of the ranking showed a clear superiority of the college’s teachers, as a number of them ranked among the best in Iraq, an achievement that confirms the college’s leadership and its academic and research excellence.
The deanship of the college confirmed that this success comes as a result of sincere research efforts and continuous support from the Presidency of Baghdad University, noting that the college continues to enhance its scientific role and serve the community through research, innovation and academic development.
As part of its social responsibility, the college emphasizes its commitment to supporting the Sustainable Development Goals, especially the third goal related to “good health and well-being”, through its applied research and health initiatives that contribute to improving the quality of life and building a sustainable health system.
